Police brutality is one of several forms of police misconduct which involves undue violence by police members. Widespread police brutality exists in many countries and territories, even those that prosecute it. Although illegal, it can be performed under the color of law. Below are FACTS most aren't aware of

Excessive force is one of the most common forms of police misconduct
Police killed 1,147 people in 2017. Black people were 25% of those killed despite being only 13% of the population
Black people are 3 times more likely to be killed by a cop
In 2014 69% of blacks killed by the police were non violent and unarmed
Police have been found not guilty in 99% of cases involving black victims
Most Black people killed by police, security guards or vigilantes are unarmed
"Suspicious Behavior" is the leading precipitating factor in these cases
Feeling threatened is the most common justification
